Yoga, Meditation and Journaling for Rest and Clarity
August 29 & 30, 2026
Only about 90 minutes from Tokyo
Pause. Breathe. Reconnect.
Is your mind always busy?
Do you find it difficult to stop thinking about work, responsibilities or your next decision?
This small weekend retreat offers you time to step away from your daily routine and reconnect with yourself.
Through gentle yoga, meditation, breathing and journaling, you will have space to relax your body, calm your mind and listen to what you truly need.
No previous yoga or meditation experience is required.
You do not need to be flexible, and you do not need to speak Japanese.
Solo travelers, beginners and international guests are warmly welcome.
Stillness Is Your Greatest Asset
We are surrounded by information, messages and constant demands.
Even when the body stops, the mind often continues working.
Sometimes, the answer is not more information.
Sometimes, we need quiet.
This retreat is an opportunity to slow down, release mental tension and create space for clearer thoughts and better decisions.

What You Will Experience
Gentle Yoga
We will begin with slow, gentle movements to release tension from the neck, shoulders, back and hips.
This is not an intensive fitness class. The practice is suitable for beginners and people who are not flexible.
Breathing and Meditation
Simple breathing and meditation practices will help you step away from constant thinking and return to the present moment.
You can continue using these short practices after the retreat in your daily life.
Journaling
Journaling gives you a quiet space to put your thoughts and feelings on paper.
You do not need to be a writer.
There are no correct answers. You will receive simple questions and prompts to help you reflect on your work, relationships, priorities and future direction.
Time for Reflection
This retreat is not about following a busy schedule.
There will also be time to rest, enjoy the hot spring, have a quiet conversation or simply be alone.
Onsen and Plant Based Japanese Food
The retreat will take place at Yugawara Retreat Goen no Mori.
The hotel offers a natural Japanese hot spring and plant based meals made with vegetables, grains and seasonal ingredients.
Eating slowly and noticing each taste is also part of returning to your senses.

Hello, I’m Itsumi Ikeshoji, the founder of BODYTIMEYOGA.
I am an entrepreneur, investor and RYT 500 certified yoga instructor with more than 20 years of yoga experience.
My approach goes beyond physical postures. I incorporate breathing, meditation, yoga philosophy and journaling to help people reconnect with themselves and find greater clarity.
Through my own experience as an entrepreneur and investor, I have learned that good decisions require more than knowledge and information.
They also require a calm and clear mind.
I create small, welcoming retreats for people who carry many responsibilities and rarely have time to pause.
My retreats offer a chance to step away from daily demands, reconnect with yourself and consider your next step with greater clarity.
I believe that stillness is your greatest asset.
